Dispute Resolution / Litigation & Arbitration

Nikolaus Pitkowitz, arbitration expert and founding partner of Graf & Pitkowitz is co-editor of the just published “Austrian Yearbook on International Arbitration 2018”.

The yearbook is being published for the 12th time and again offers a wide collection of articles covering current issues on commercial and investment arbitration. Articles and essays by leading arbitration experts cover topics such as the idea of a multilateral investment court, the enforcement of settlement agreements, transparency in international commercial arbitration and in arbitration institutions and the consequences of BREXIT. Nikolaus Pitkowitz is co-author of the article “The Vienna Repositioning Prepositions” containing – following the Arbitration World Café debates - thoughts and proposals for the positioning of arbitration to best meet its challenges.

The Yearbook was presented at the Vienna Arbitration Days 2018. Nikolaus Pitkowitz is co-organizer and moderator of the conference.

The “Austrian Yearbook on International Arbitration 2018” is released via Manz, CH Beck and Stämpfli and also available online via KluwerArbitration.com.
