Book Launch Reception in New York for the “Handbook on Third-Party Funding in International Arbitration”

On 27 June 2018, a book launch event is scheduled in New York to celebrate the the U.S. release of the “Handbook on Third-Party Funding in International Arbitration” edited by Nikolaus Pitkowitz. Speakers at the presentation, will be Anna Joubin-Bret, Secretary of UNCITRAL and Director of the International Trade Law Division, Office of Legal Affairs, United Nations. Kenneth B. Reisenfeld, BakerHostetler and Former Chair, ABA Section of International Law and Dr. Nikolaus Pitkowitz, founding partner and head of dispute resolution at Graf & Pitkowitz.

The Handbook offers comprehensive studies of central issues and threats specific to Third-Party Funding (TPF). Fifty-five authors with outstanding experience analyze complex issues associated with TPF, many never before addressed by law, courts or scholars. The publication does not only comprise six reports dealing with general issues but also 25 country specific reports. Additionally, a general section and six state specific reports are provided for the United States.
