Stefan Weileder is the co-head of our insolvency and restructuring group. He specializes on restructuring and insolvency proceedings (both in and out of court) with a particular focus on avoidance, capital maintenance and equity compensation law. He is regarded as a leading insolvency expert and regularly gets appointed by insolvency courts as an insolvency administrator in proceedings of all sizes.

Stefan has extensive expertise from working with co-head Alexander Isola for many years – he is known for handling insolvency and restructuring proceedings in the most efficient way. Part of his practice also includes distressed M&A and advising and guiding managing directors and board members of companies on the brink of insolvency on how to avoid personal liability.

Stefan’s other practice areas are banking, securities and corporate law. He frequently publishes legal articles on insolvency law. Stefan speaks German and English.
