Gunter Nitsche practices his consultancy work in the areas of corporate law, company and foundation law, intellectual property law and copyright law. He has in-depth and decades-long expertise in corporate law in relation to insolvency resolution. He is a lecturer at the Graz University of Technology and at the University of Applied Sciences. He holds several supervisory board and foundation board mandates.

Gunter completed his studies at Washington State University as a Fulbright Scholar and later taught at Rutgers Law School in Camden, New Jersey.
